The Void Cube is essentially a 3x3x3 cube with its internal rotating mechanism taken out. The acual rotating mechanism for this cube is along the edges, with the corner pieces looking and attaching like a 2x2x2. The original colour scheme for this is: light grey, light yellow, pale green, light blue, red orange and dark grey.
This puzzle attended the design competition during IPP27 in 2007.
The Void cube won the competition!
