Os Cube A 2x2x2 which uniform tiles retract or extended when the puzzle is turned.

3X3X3

3x3x3 Centrosphere A spherical 3x3x3 with the corners enlarged to form a frame that gives the appearance of a 2x2x2. This is the undeformed variant.
3x3x3 Cube (Rubik's Cube) Official Rubik's Cubes manufactured in the 1990's and 2000's
Bandaged 3x3x3 Fuse Cube A 3x3x3 bandaged like a Fused Cube

Fluffy Cube The world's first in Wavy-style Rubik's 3x3x3 Cube.
Maze 3x3x3 A sticker variant that combines the Maze Cube with the classical 3x3x3.
Mixup 3x3x3 A 3x3x3 that allows swapping of centers with edges.

Rubenking Cube An attractive sticker variation with confusing properties.
Sudoku Cube A cube covered with sudoku-themed stickers.
Void Cube A 3x3x3 with a hole through the center.

Wellness Ball Cube A cube with ball-like "cubies".
WitEden Super 3x3x3 A 3x3x3 with circles on yellow and white faces. These faces can only be moved when the circles are restored.

4x4x4 Magic Puzzle East Sheen's 2002 4x4x4 cube.
Crazy 4x4x4 I The first 4x4x4 with circles. It exposes the theoretical inner 2x2x2.

5x5x5 Cube (Professor's Cube) Version by Rubiks.com from 2002

10x10x10 (flat) A customly designed 10x10x10 with flat surfaces.
6x6x6 Cube The first mass produced 6x6x6. A six layered cube.
7x7x7 Cube The first 7x7x7. A seven layered cube.

8x8x8 Cube The first legitimate 8x8x8.
9x9x9 Cube Verdes cubes brought to another level.

CUBE (SHAPE PRESERVING)

2x2x2 Circle Cube The second circle puzzle made after the Crazy 4x4x4.
3x3x3 Clover Cube A face turning cube (aka 3x3x3) with spherical cuts that go so deep that the face pieces vanish.
Ancient Coin Cube A very simple hybrid puzzle but interestingly not the simplest.

Clover 2x2x2 A Triakis Tetrahedron with cuts inspired by the clover puzzles. Unlike other clover-puzzles the axis system is doctrinaire.
Clover Cube An edge turning cube which closest relative is a more complex hybrid puzzle that came before it.
Clover Cube Plus A hybrid of Curvy Copter and 2x2x2.

Cubic 3x3x5 A 3x3x5 in shape of a hexahedron. This allows some moves a true 3x3x5 cuboid would not allow.
Cubic 3x3x7 Mass produced cubic 3x3x7.
Cubic 3x3x9 I The logic successor of the cubic 3x3x7. A cuboid out of a series of cubes that behave like a bandaged 9x9x9.

Cubic 3x3x9 II The cousin of Cubic 3x3x9. All of its faces are split up. A cuboid out of a series of cubes that behave like a bandaged 9x9x9.
Curvy Compino A Redi Cube with curvy cuts although not designed by the designer of the Redi Cube.
Curvy Copter A variation on the Helicopter Cube that uses curved cuts to reveal the otherwise hidden centerpieces.

Curvy Copter Extreme A cube with hybrid axis system combining the turns of the skewb and a shallow curvy copter.
Curvy Copter III An edge turning hexahedron with cuttings depths somewhere between Curvy Copter and Curvy Copter II.
Curvy Mosaic Cube A variant of the Fadi Cube (aka "Mosaic Cube") with round cuts.

Dinosaur Rubik's Cube (Dino Cube) The most basic corner turning hexahedron. This version has six colours.
Double Crazy Cube A Crazy 3x3x3 with 2 circles on each face.
Double Skewb A Skewb combines with an underlying Pyraminx.

Edges-Only Void Cube A Void Cube with hidden corners.
Eye Skewb (Ivy Cube) A puzzle with 4 axes and many ways to interpret it.
Flower Copter A hybrid puzzle which combines the moves of the Curvy Copter (hence the name) and moves similar (but not identical) to the Rex Cube.

Helicopter Cube (Bevel Cube) The first edge turning hexahedron, now a classic puzzle.
Honey Copter contour cut variant of Oskar's Redi Cube. This time the contours of the piece's form heart-like shapes.
Maple Leaf Skewb A Skewb with one additional type of turn akin the Krystian's Cube.

Master Clover Cube The higher order version of the 4-Leaf-Clover Cube.
Master F-Skewb It looks like a Master Skewb and turns around its corners but with different cut depths.
Master Skewb An incredible creation by Katsuhiko Okamoto. A very rare puzzle for many years it became mass produced in 2011.

Multi-Skewb Years after the Multi-Dodecahedron the same concept for the corner turning cubes was realized.
O2 Cube The slice cube implemented in something that does not look like a puzzle.
Pandora Cube Works like a 3x3x3 but with challenging new exterior.

Pentacle Cube A mass produced cube with pentagrammically cut circles on all six side.
Polaris Cube A Skewb with eight additional corners that have to placed in midturn.
Redi Cube A twisty puzzle cube that turns around its corners. A faceless Compy Cube.

Roadblock I A cubic 3x3x9 with some traditional corner pieces inserted. A puzzle out of a series of cubes that behave like a bandaged 9x9x9.
Roadblock II A cubic 3x3x9 with four traditional corner pieces inserted. A puzzle out of a series of cubes that behave like a bandaged 9x9x9.
Shell Cube (Butterflower Cube) A hybrid puzzle that combines the corners turns of a coin cube and the edge turns of the clover cube.

Six Spot Cube A contour cut variant of the Ivy Cube.
Skewb The deepcut corner turning cube.
Skewb Mixup I A Skewb which allows simple rotations when in midturn. The circles are cut in two segments.

Skewby Copter Plus A hybrid of the Skewb and the Curvy Copter Plus. It adds one level of unbandaging to an already complex hybrid puzzle.
Super Ivy (QiYi MoFangGe) Redesign of the Rex Cube with larger centres and petals and additional stabilisation features.
Valentine Gear Cube A Gear Cube covered with what looks like the Valentine Cube.

Venom Cube A cube with hybrid axis system (face turning cube and edge turning cube) with just one piece type and even that is as heavily reduced as possible.

CUBE (SHAPE CHANGING)

2x2x2 Ghost Cube The lower order brother of the Ghost Cube. Made from a 2x2x2.
2x2x2 Mirror Cube (Junior Bump Cube) A 2x2x2 was "bumped" to make it look like a Mirror Blocks aka Bump Cube.
3x3x3 Crazy Windmill A 3x3x3 which axis system was twisted less than 60 degrees.

3x3x3 Mixup Plus Cube A mass produced Mixup Cube. Compared with the "traditional" Mixup Cube this one has twice the pieces in each ring.
4 Corners Cube A cube with cuts corresponding to the twelve faces of a face turning triakis tetrahedron. A jumbling-only puzzle.
4+4 corners cube An enhanced version of the "4 corners cube". A puzzle with 16 possible turns in two different sets.

4x4x4 Axis Cube (Master Axis Cube) The concept of the axis cube applied to a 4x4x4.
4x4x4 Windmill Cube (Master Windmill Cube) A 4x4x4 twisted inside of its solid. It resembles one of Katzuhiko Okamoto's most popular creations.

Andromeda Cube A cube with pentagonal icositetrahedral symmetry, and 24 axes of rotation. A jumbling-only puzzle.
Axis Cube A 3x3x3 with the cutting planes rotated by 60? around a corner.
Axis Time Wheel An axised version of the Wheel of Time.

Bagua Cube The mass produced an enhanced successor of the Octo-Star.
BaiNiaoChaoFeng Cube (Phoenix Cube) A mass produced Fisher cube with curvy cuts. Sold stickerless in two different configurations with three colours each.
Bump Cube (Mirror Cube) The Bump Cube is a simple 3x3x3 Rubik's cube, but with an interesting twist. It spawned a whole series of puzzles and created a verb of its own.

Crazy Gear An axised variant of the Gear Cube from the same inventor.
Duo Axis Cube A cubic 3x3x5 moved into a pattern and modified back into cubic shape.
Fisher Cube Taking the concept of the Rubik's cube and turning it 45 degrees.

Fisher Mirror Cube A Fisher Cube elongated on one side and truncated on the opposite.
Fisher Time Wheel A "fishered" version of the Time Wheel.
Fisher's Golden Cube (Ghost Skewb) All the stickers on this 78 mm modified Skewb are the same reflective golden colour. There is only one solution.

Gear Cube (Caution Cube) A Rubik's Cube with edges that turn by gears.
Gear Cube 3x3x3 A reduced version of the Bloomy Gears, without the 2x2x2 turns.
Gear Cube Extreme (Anisotropic Cube) A Gear Cube with four geared edges replaced with four non-geared edges.

Gear Shift A 3-D puzzle solely based on gears.
Geared Mixup A Gear Cube combined with the Mixup Cube. It allows 90?-moves.
Ghost Cube A 3x3x3 placed in midturn and reoriented in its original shape. Every piece is of unique shape and therefore sticker can be unicoloured.

Large Mental Box (Fisher Skewb) A successor to the Mental box, a skewb twisted inside its shape. This one has the shape of a cube.
Morpho Deidamia A Curvy Copter Extreme without the face pieces.
Morpho Helena Morpho Deidamia with edge turns that allow for another type of turn.

Morpho Helenor Octavia A 2x2x2 combined with a Curvy Copter which edge turns are split up every 45°.
Morpho Marinita Morpho Deidamia with edge turns that allow for another type of turn.
One Plane bumped Cube (Inequilateral Cube) A Rubiks Cube "bumped" in one dimension.

Puppet Cube I A 3x3x3 bandaged and extended to resemble a bandaged 4x4x4.
Puppet Cube II A 3x3x3 bandaged and extended to resemble a bandaged 4x4x4.
Pyracue A Skewb variation built by Hiroshi Ishino and presented by Katsuhiko Okamoto.

Skewb Mixup II A Skewb which allows simple rotations when in midturn. The circles are cut in four segments.
Skewb Mixup III A Skewb which allows simple rotations when in midturn. The circles are cut in six segments.
Sloppy Cube A Melty D modified into the shape of a cube.

Son-Mum II Cube The successor of the Son-Mum Cube unbandaged by one level.
Spax Cube (SP)herical (AX)is cube: An Axis Cube implemented with spherical cuts.
Square-1 The logo on this version is written in a different font.

Square-1/2 A Square-1 bandaged to have identically sized pieces.
Square-2 A modified Square-1 where the corners are split into two pieces. A non-bandaged puzzle unlike the original.
Square-2 Shift Cube A Square-2 with a non-skewed central cut but put in midturn

Sunflower Cube A reimplemented Clover Cube without the corner pieces.
Unequal Fisher Cube A fully bumped Fisher Cube.
Unequal Windmill A Windmill Cube bumped on all three axes.

Windmill Cube A 3x3x3 variation built by Katsuhiko Okamoto.
Windmirror Cube A Windmill cube bumped on one axis.

RHOMBOHEDRON

2x2x2 Transform Pyraminx LiuSeLingJing II A variant of the pyramorphix plus a set of corner turns.
3x3x3 Trigonal Trapezohedron (Blade Cube) A truncated and extended 3x3x3 in the shape of a trigonal trapezohedron.
Rhombohedron Skewb A skewb transformed into the shape of rhombohedron.

Squished Skewb A skewb in shape of a rhombohedron.

CUBOID

1x1x3 Crystal Tiles Is a stupid puzzle transparent version with tiles of 3D imprint
1x2x2 It is not a boob cube but a boob can solve this one too.
1x2x3 A very simplistic cuboid but a must for completionists.

1x3x3 (Floppy Cube) A functional proportional looking 1x3x3.
1x3x3 Ghost Cube (Ghost Floppy Cube) A "ghosted" version of the floppy prism.
2x2x3 A newly mass produced 2x2x3.

2x2x4 (Rubik's Tower) A mass produced 2x2x4 cuboid.
2x3x3 (Domino Cube) Cuboid, made after the original cube craze, first customly from a 3x3x3, then mass produced.
3x3x4 (Witeden) Another mass produced version of the 3x3x4.

3x3x5 (center-shifted 0.5) A 3x3x5 with the core shifted by half a cubie.
Case Cube An extended version of the "Octagon/Cube".
Container The Container is a shape variant of a Skewb sketched by Jean-Claude Constantin, invented by Tony Fisher and mass produced 20 years later.

Crazy 2x3x3 A 3x3x4 with two layers removed but not hidden.
Mental Block Today this can be considered as one of Tony Fisher's classical Skewb modifications.
Super 3x3x5 I Cuboid Cube A 3x3x6 with one layer reduced to a circle, unlinked to the surrounding pieces and with the core shifted by half a cubie.

Super 3x3x5 II Cuboid Cube A 3x3x6 with one layer reduced to a circle, linked to the surrounding pieces and with the core shifted by half a cubie.

3x3x3 Gear Octahedron A mass produced shape variant of the Gear Cube.
BaMianTi II A octahedral variant of the Redi Cube.
Eitan's Edge Turning Octahedron The octahedral equivalent of the Curvy Copter II.

Face Turning Octahedron The first face turning octahedron with straight cuts.
Octacle (Clover Octahedron) The concept of the Trifurcation Cube applied to an octahedron.
Skewb Diamond Meffert's build-up and truncation of a Skewb into an octahedron.

Trajber's 4x4x4 A 4x4x4 transformed into octahedral shape.

HEXAGONAL PRISM

Gear Hexagonal Prism A mass produced Gear Cube in shape of a hexagonal prism.
Hex Prism 1 (Shield Cube) A 3x3x3 in shape of a hexagonal prism.

DODECAHEDRON

2x2x2 Dodecahedron A 2x2x2 with the shape of a dodecahedron.
2x2x2 Megaminx (Kilominx) A mass produced Kilominx with straight edges on the pieces but with exposed centers.
BaiNiaoChaoFeng Megaminx (Phoenix Megaminx) A fishered megaminx with curvy cuts and just three colours.

Crazy Megaminx Simplified Another variant of the circle minx but with one piece type less.
Gear Dodecahedron A Gear Cube in shape of a dodecahedron.
Gigaminx The face turning dodecahedron with two layers per face. A Megaminx with an additional layer on each face.

Master Kilominx A mass produced challenger of the Master Kilominx.
Megaminx Meffert's version from 1982 with six colours.
Pyraminx Crystal Essentially a deeper cut megaminx at heart, the Pyraminx crystal adds a new twist to the classic puzzle.

Rediminx A mass produced Dino dodecahedron with spherical cuts.
Teraminx A three layered Megaminx. One of the most famous custom twisty puzzles before mass production started.

RHOMBIC DODECAHEDRON

4x4x4 Rhombic Dodecahedron 12-sided 4x4x4 variation with the shape of a catalan solid.
Evil Eye I (Close-eye) A variant of the Cross Cube in the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron. The inner 3x3x3 is invisible.
Gear Change A gear cube transformed into the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron.

Rhombic Dodecahedron 3x3x3 A 3x3x3 with the namegiving shape which is a catalan solid.
Rua A face turning rhombic dodecahedron with cuts to make the number of pieces minimal.

OTHER TWELVE-SIDED

3x3x3 Hexagonal Dipyramid A 3x3x3 half-regularly truncated on 6 corners and afterwards extended. The result has th shape of the name giving solid.
4x4x4 Hexagonal Dipyramid A 4x4x4 truncated six times. The shape gives the name of the puzzle.
Gear Dodecahedron II (Gear Hexagonal Dipyramid) Gear Cube truncated into the shape of a hexagonal dipyramid.

6-Layer Pyramid Tower The 6x6x6 equivalent of the Halpen-Meier-Tetrahedron

Confusion Pyramid An F-Skewb in shape of a Reuleaux Tetrahedron.

Cornerless Clover Tetrahedron A variant of the Clover Tetrahedron without corners, headed for mass production.
Crazy Tetrahedron Simplified Crazy Tetrahedron with one piece type less than the first variant.
Crazy Tetrahedron Standard A mass produced Crazy Tetrahedron. It was released together with a series of eight variants named after the eight planets of the solar system.

Curvy hexagram A redesigned Clover Tetrahedron with differently placed cuts.
Duomo A Halpern-Meier-Tetrahedron with a strange cutting pattern.
Edge-Only Halpern-Meier-Tetrahedron (Ivy Mastermorphix) A Halper-Meier-Tetrahedron with corner pieces.

Elite Tetrahedron The tetrahedral cousin of the Elite Skewb but published earlier.
Gear Halpern-Meier Tetrahedron A tetrahedron with gears. Unlike the earlier Gear Pyraminx this one resembles the Halper-Meier Tetrahedron.
Gear Mastermorphix A Gear Cube transformed into the shape of Reuleaux tetrahedron.

Gemini Pyraminx The concepts of the Xenomorphix and Genomorphix applied to a Floppy Cube.
Ghost Pyraminx A ghosted version of the HMT
Holey Tetrahedron (Void Pyraminx) A holey variant of Jing's Pyraminx.

Jing's Pyraminx The Jing's pyraminx was created by Adam Cowen and was produced by Uwe Meffert in 2009. It is a pillowed Halpern-Meier pyramid, based on the skewb mechanism.
Master Pyraminx An incredible creation by Katsuhiko Okamoto which later made it into a mass production.
Mercedes Tetrahedron (Coin Pyraminx) Another variant of the Rainbow Cube, this time in the shape of a tetrahedron.

Petal Pyraminx A mass produced variant of the Crazy Pyraminx without trivial tips but with independently turning circles.
Professor Pyraminx Five-layer pyraminx in pillowed tetrahedron shape.
Pyraminx The black 1981 Meffert version.

Pyramorphix A 2x2x2 in shape of a tetrahedron.
RX (Reuleaux Master Tetrahedron) A Master Skewb transformed into the shape of a Reuleaux Tetrahedron.
Reuleaux Leaf Tetrahedron (Clover Pyraminx) A tetrahedral 3x3x3 without one half of the corners.

Rob's Pyraminx (Pyraminx Duo) A Halpern-Meier-Tetrahedron (aka Jings Pyraminx) without edges.

FIVE

2-Layer Pentahedron A triangular prism with two layers and cuts like Rubik's Cheese.
3-Layer Pentahedron A triangular prism with three layers and cuts like Rubik's Cheese.
Jumble Prism An idea of Bram Cohen finally comes to life after 5 years.


SEVEN

House Cube 1 (Octagonal Edges 294 Extended) A 3x3x3 truncated on 2 edges and afterwards extended. The result has a shape resembling a house.

TEN

Gears Truncated A Gear cube in shape of a half truncated cube.

FOURTEEN

3x3x3 Tetrakaidecahedron Cube (UFO Cube) A 3x3x3 in shape of a hexagonal dipyramid but with truncated tips.
Fisher's Truncated Octahedron (aka Skewb Hex) This gorgeous puzzle is actually a truncated Skewb Diamond.
Gear Cuboctahedron (Gear Tetrakaidecahedron) A Gear Cube truncated into the shape of a cuboctahedron.


TWENTY

Truncated Rhombic Dodecahedron 4x4x4 A 4x4x4 in shape of a rhombic dodecahedron subsequently truncated on its corners.

OTHER N-SIDED

Cane Ball A 4x4x4 in a shape resembling the Rhombicuboctahedron.
Shining Diamond A 3x3x3 truncated into the shape of a hexagonal dipyramid and afterwards truncated again.
Super 4x4x4 Mask Cube A truncated rhombic dodecahedron or chamfered cube. Made from a 4x4x4.

Tetra Pyramid (4-Corner Hexagonal Dipyramid) A 3x3x3 half-regularly truncated 12 times on the corners. The result is similar to the Half-Truncated-Cube.

SPHERE

2x2x2 Magic Eye Cube A 2x2x2 made out of three interconnecting rings. Another version of Rubik's Orbit.
3x3x3 Basketball A 3x3x3 (in three colours) remodelling a basketball with an unnaturally high degree of symmetry.
Gear Sphere The reduced Gear Cube reshaped into a sphere.

Yeet ball A mass produced sphere with a mechanism equivalent to the Pyraminx.

CYLINDER

3x3x3 Cylinder A cylindrical 3x3x3 with a traditional colour scheme.
Fisher's Cylinder Cube This is an interesting subset of a Rubik's Cube, as almost every piece is duplicated four times.
Gear Cylinder The reduced Gear Cube reshaped into a cylinder.

Redi Barrel A cylindrical version of the Redi Cube.
Rubik's Cheese Anthony Greenhill's 2-layered Cheese created from an UFO mechanism.
Square-2 Barrel Cylindrical version of the Square-2 Shift.

Star Barrel A three-layered variant of the Star Puck or the Pentabarrel without protrusions.

ROUND CONVEX SHAPES

Bicopter 6 (FlyMouse) A two-sided shape mod of a 2x2x2.
Diamond Cube A mass produced variant of a 3x3x3 in shape of a diamond.
Penrose Cube A 3x3x3 truncated into three round surfaces in a spiral pattern.

Penrose Pyraminx The concept of the Penrose cube applied to a pyraminx.

STAR

Dino Star Plus Fusing of a Starburst / Pyrastar and a Dino Star creates a shape variant of a Super X with enhanced instability, fully remediable with magnets.
Pineapple Cube A straightforward shape variant of the Discrete Pyraminx which itself is a shape variant of a Cross Cube 2x2x2.
Skewb Star Stellated Skewb from Meffert's parts. The first sample were made without exchanged pieces.

Star Cube The technique of transforming an Octagonal Prism into a Fishers Cube applied to a standard 3x3x3.
Two layer star prism (2-layer Star Square-1) The cousin of the star prism with two layers.

1x2x3 Christmas Tree A 1x2x3 puzzle in the shape of a Christmas tree.
Fruit Cube - Apple A 3x3x3 in shape of an apple. One of three fruits.

Fruit Cube - Peach A 3x3x3 in shape of a peach. One of four fruit-like shapes.

Q-Platypus A new version of the Platypus. Seemingly made of cylinders.
Rainbow Nautilus A dihedral puzzle with fascinating shape, colors and a strange arrangement of cuts.

Super Platypus An enhanced version of the Q-Platypus. It has one additional layer for each cylinder.
Time Machine A 2x2x2 with 6 rings with 12 segments each.
Twist Cubies A 3x3x3 which still has 6 sides but an additional twist.

Twisty Skewb The concept of Twist Cubies applied to a skewb.
Wheel of Time A mass produced version of the cross cube with differently placed cuts.

Mirror Brick (aka Siamese Mirror Cube) Two Bump Cubes were fused into a single block.
