The third of the three different Ideal 1980 U.S. packages. With a transparent sticker carrying the logo.
The top of the package reads: "Ideal No. 2164-2"
A forum member named "Jeff-shangguan" demonstrated there were at least 14 different packagings which all read "Packaged in USA" or "Assembled in USA". This includes six different countries of production:
- Taiwan (5 versions)
- Hong Kong (2 versions)
- Macao (2 versions)
- Haiti (2 versions)
- Korea (2 versions)
- Hungary (2 versions)
Images 5-13 show some of these variants.
The five version from Taiwan and one from Korea and one from Haiti all have a transparent sticker with the logo on the white face. The only known exceptions (logo on yellow face or no logo at all) seem to be production mistakes. Images 14-15 shows one of these versions.
Despite that the other versions have a logo printed on the white face.
Not counted for this entry are four additional package variants assembled outside the US:
- Assembly in Santiago Dominican Republic (1 version)
- Assembly in Canada (1 version)(please refer to the museums separate entry)
- Assembly in Haiti, Packaged in Canada, Made in Taiwan (1 version)
- Made in UK, French language (1 version)(please refer to the museums separate entry)
