A 3x3x5 in shape of a hexahedron. This allows some moves a true 3x3x5 cuboid would not allow.
The top and bottom two layers of a 3x3x5 are made thinner to give the puzzle as a whole the shape of a hexahedron. One consequence of this is that the puzzle behaves more like a bandaged puzzle and is not a doctrinaire one. This puzzle is therefore equivalent to the 3x3x5-Vesion 1 which can be seen in the museum too.
The first version of this puzzle was designed by Adam Cowan, then printed with Rapid Prototyping and published in 2007. At the end of 2009 mass production of this puzzle started.
The industrial version has these measurements:
Edge length: 58 mm
Weight: 180 grams
