A 2x2x4 with circles on the not-extended sides.
For this puzzle the concept of a cross cube was applied to a 2x2x2. For some subjective reasons four of the six sides did not receive complete pieces but almost flat sector-like pieces. This does not affect the mechanism since the flat sectors and the bigger pieces can be exchanged while twisting.
This puzzle works like a 4x4x4 with visible pieces of the theoretic internal 2x2x2 and without corners and edges.
By combining pieces of three of these puzzles a real cross cube (with non-proportional cubies) can be made.
