The Axis cube is a modification of a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. It involves cutting the cube into a Hexagonal Dipyramid, and then extending it back into a cube using the cut-off parts. In short, it's a cube rotated 60 degrees along one axis. The idea was conceived by Adam G. Cowan. The first sample was built by Aleh Hladzilin. Edge length: 57 mm Weight: 116 grams
