This puzzle is a cylinder with 4 layers separated into 8 segments each. There are four sets of pieces with the colours red, blue, yellow, and green.
This puzzle allows three different movements:
1. Each layer can be rotatd independently from the others.
2. The two halves of the puzzles can be moved against each other like the Diogenes or Tony Fisher's Sliding Puck.
3. The two halves can be rotated against each other.
The latter two movements are shown in the images 2-3.
This unusual mechanisms allows the puzzle to create some nice patterns.
This is one of a set of three puzzles. The whole series is named Q-Borg. The others are:
-Atomic Cube
-Sudoku Fairy
Length of 4 segments: 76 mm
Length incl. rounded end caps: 95 mm
Diameter: 52 mm
Weight: 125 grams
