Star prism and dodecagonal prism were first made from the classical Square-1's by exchanging pieces between the puzzles. The same was done here with the pieces of a Super Square-1, the version with four layers. Not surprisingly the author has also implemented the dodecagonal prism with four layers. The images of this entry shows a later sample.
Two years later a mass produced version hit the market.
