The creator presented this concept together with his Axis Skewb (under the name SkewSkewb).
In this case he modified one halve of the Skewb's pieces as he did for the Axis Skewb. The other halve was left unchanged. The puzzle was subsequently twisted in a midturn-state and stickered appropriately. This puzzle therefore shares a property which is prominently implemented in Tony Fishers Golden Cube
