The crazy version of the 3x3x3.

Installing circles into an already known puzzle's faces means transforming it into a "Crazy"-Puzzle. This is the first application of this technique to a 3x3x3. The pieces within the circles never move with the outer pieces if twisted.
Despite this interesting principle the puzzle does not provide a new solving experience. It can be solved like any other 3x3x3 with visible orientation on the faces. This is because the circle-pieces adjacent to the edge behave like being connected to the (otherwise non-visible) face pieces of the 3x3x3. The circle-pieces adjacent to the corners behave like being connected to the edge-pieces behind them. The central pieces are extensions of the core.
Edge length: 57 mm
Weight: 120 grams

There is also a mass produced version made from pieces taken from the Plus-variants.
