An enhanced version of the "4 corners cube". A puzzle with 16 possible turns in two different sets.
This puzzle adds four additional cuts to the "4 corners cube" (please refer to the separate entry) from David Pitcher. The four new cuts are strictly doctrinaire but don't interfere with its other. Seeing as how those additional cuts allows for 60° turns, it adds a whole new element of shapeshifting leaving quite the jumbled mess when scrambled as seen in image 4.
Like its predecessor it is a jumbling only puzzle.
It can be thought of as a face turning truncated triakis tetrahedron, a solid notoriously known to have spawned the Skyglobe and other puzzles bending the limits of geometry.
Stickers were cut by Jason Gavril.
Edge length: 60 mm
In 2018 a mass produced version hit the market under the name "Shuang Fei Yan Cube". It was produced with black and white and stickerless body. See images 5-10.
Edge length: 67 mm
Weight: 180 grams
