An incredible creation by Katsuhiko Okamoto which later made it into a mass production.

As far as it is known Katsuhiko Okamoto didn't know the Master Moldavian Pyramid when building this puzzle as a custom creation. Katsuhiko still was a pioneer since his creation was fully working unlike its soviet predecesor and therefore got this independent entry.
Piece type signature: HC2[C1/ C4/ X9/ VNz3/][C4/]
The earliest mentioning of his creation dates back to 2002. In 2006 he produced a series of these puzzles which are still sought collectors item.
Later other samples were made by these people:
Jin H Kim (in 2009)
Ola Jansson (in 2009)
Wen Hsi Kang
Thang Nguyen
Timur Evbatyrov (through shapeways)
Katsuhiko worked with Uwe Meffert to mass produce his version but Mefferts failed to come up with a stable version.

In 2016 a mass produced version eventually hit the market.
