This puzzle is a variation of the icosioctahedron star v2 from the same creator. He experimented a bit with using more extreme angled cuts to reveal the "hidden edges" of the icosioctahedron star v2 puzzle and also to create an interesting pattern with a combination of straight edge and curved cuts. He also re extended the 4 previous truncated sides resulting in the 24 sided puzzle you see which seems to fit this puzzle better than if I were to have kept strictly the same shape as the other puzzles in this family.
