Politechnika (later renamed into Politoys) is wellknown as the original producer of Rubik's Cube. Lesser known is that Politechnika also produced a large number (at least 39) of promotional cubes. These were sold in various blue packages known from that era.
The version shown here advertises for Ganz-Mávag. The company Mávag merged in 1959 with Ganz Motor- és vagongyár (Ganz engine and wagon factory) and was renamed Ganz-Mávag.
The logo is shown on the red face piece.
It came in hungarian politechnika packaging.
The year is unknown but 1983 is an upper bound.
