After presentation of the Kilominx the community had many discussions about whether this principle could be adapted to a higher order face turning dodecahedron. In 2008 this concept was discussed under the name "Hyperminx". The first result, the Master Kilominx, was presented in February 2010. It is a Gigaminx where the faces, edges and T-Faces were heavily truncated to make them vanish under the extended remaining pieces.
Piece type signature: DF4[C5.0 W10.5 X5.10][C5.0]
In October Ryan Binter came presented another version which was created with CAD from scratch.
In 2011 MF8 started selling a mass produced version with black and stickerless body. See images 5-8. Later more body colours were presented: blue, yellow, green, grey, orange, pink, purple, light green, light yellow, transparent pink.
The package was used for four different dodecahedral puzzles: Gigaminx, Master Kilominx, Helicopter Dodecahedron and Dino Dodecahedron (under its misleading name: Starminx)
