Built on a 3x3x3 with extensions only.
For years it was thought that this shape variant of the 3x3x3 was invented by Tony Fisher in 1995. The images used here show that version.
In 2015 a magazine "Jeux & Stratégie n°11" was rediscovered. In its issue from November/December 1981 images of this variants were shown and attributed to somebody named Jacques Frossard.
