Tetracopter 12XD is a continuation of the HeliPrism series. In this case the previous Tetracopter 12 geometry is used, with the same shallow cuts on the eight 120 degree turning axes. However, with this "XD" version, the two 90 degree capable axes have been moved to become deep cuts. In addition, the core has been unbandaged with an equatorial deep cut that is only accessible after bandaging parts have been moved out of the way.
Mechanically, the puzzle has the same axis system as a Compy Cube + 2x2x2. But not all turns are always possible like a turn at the equator, setup in image 8 and performed in image 9.
