Dodecahedron in a Cube

A dodecahedral 3x3x3 (a truncated puzzle) extended to be a cube again.

Some time after the dodecahedral 3x3x3 went into mass production this puzzle with its brilliant idea was published. Ironically the dodecahedral 3x3x3 was made by truncating the 3x3x3, a process which is now reversed by applying the transparent resin.
This is not the first puzzle out of transparent material but the first where solely the extensions are made out of transparent resin.
