This puzzle is named "цилиндр Головоломка", transliterated "Tsilindr Golovolomka", which means "Cylinder Puzzle".
This version of the Whip-It was produced in Georgia, then a part of the soviet union.
The original price is based on the official exchange rate (0.6 roubles per dollar) although in socialist time this was completely theoretical. The price (in roubles) is printed on the package.
There is also a version with rhombi printed onto the pieces. It has an identical name printed on an identical package except that it bears a different logo.
