This puzzle, a 2x2x2x3 with a new layer, was made by a user of the Hypercubers Discord server named Grant. After he showed off the 2x2x2x3 that Rowan Fortier challenged him to make, people wondered what a 2x2x3x3 would look like. After some pondering, someone suggested a design for the new 3c (3 colored) piece that would be needed. After the 3c piece design was decided on, the building of the puzzle could begin.
Here are all the possible moves:
Moves as on a 2x2x2x2
Gyro algorithm (rotation around the w axis, remove the center layers, then gyro like a 2^4)
Secondary gyro (not all states are possible to get to with just one)
