This fun custom built puzzle is based on a Pyramorphix / 2x2x2 mechanism.

This puzzle can made by dissasembling 2 Pyramorphixes and taking all the points from the Pyra's and combining them to one puzzle. The leftover pieces can form a Gem (Okki) puzzle.
The stickers on parallel planes are the same colour. Each piece is therefore mirrored, making a relatively simple puzzle a little more difficult.
Its shape is called "Stellated octahedron".

Weight: 97 grams
No later than 2009 Mefferts presented his own version named "Pyrastar". In 2017 Mefferts represented through recenttoys the mini version shown in images 6-8.
