Gear Octagonal Prism

The inventor was not satisfied with the complexity of his Gear 2x2x3 and made to changes: He added additional cuts to the top and bottom layers so these have eight segments instead of four. Subsequently he redesigned the puzzle into the shape of an octagonal prism. Because of the additional cuts the gears now turn by 120° with each pairwise turn of the top and bottom layers.
