A pyraminx truncated and extended again to give it the incomplete shape of a triakis tetrahedron.
To create this puzzle the inventor has truncated a pyraminx down into Brandts Hexagonal Pyraminx which is also visible in the museum. Afterwards he put extensions onto the hexagonal sides. Were the four missing pieces of the skewb present the result would have been a perfect Triakis tetrahedron a catalan solid.
