The creator transformed the a Master Skewb into the shape of a hexagonal prism. The top and bottom of the puzzle look exactly like the Hex Prism 1. Unlike that older puzzle the Infierno is made from a Master Skewb. The cuts on the sides are completely different. There are also two cuts which run parallel to the top and bottom faces which therefore do not change the puzzle's shape.
