The icosioctahedron star v2 with an additonal type of pieces revealed.

The DeCollider Octhaedron was inspired by Linxiao Xu's "8 Corners Rhombic Dodecahedron" (see the separate entry).
I wanted to try how the puzzle would look in the shape of an octahedron, remembering that in the background it's a shape modification of VeryPuzzle's Trifurcation Cube (Clover Cube), although the original geometric shape would be a face turning triakis octahedron.
On the other hand, the name comes in contrast to David Pitcher's "Collider Octahedron" (see the separaet entry), which would be the same concept but with hidden pieces, and that puzzle also has overbandaging that is produced by the collision of the pieces when they are in a jumbling position, while in this puzzle there is no overbandaging, that is why the name is De-Collider (bad joke).
The inventor uses the pseudonym "El Cubitero".
Printed in PETG plastic with an Ender 3.
Edge length: 75 mm
Weight: 112 grams
