On one side of this puzzle it pretends to be the Gimmick. On the other it reveals itself as a Pyraminx in shape of a triangular prism with edges that turn.

This puzzle's name is a portmanteau of Pyraminx and Gimmick which were fused into one hybrid puzzle.
This puzzle was inspired by the "Pillowed Triangular Prism" and the "Junior Prism". See the separate entries.
The inventor was unhappy with both because they had atypical shapes. One is pillowed, the other concave. He decided to build his own pyraminx prism with a more traditional flat-sided shape. He also realized that he could add some type pieces inspired from the "Gimmick" where the trivial tips of a Pyraminx would be.
