Two loops of pieces with three interchangeable half circles and a unique threaded piece that causes two loops to move in opposite directions.

This is a moving marbles puzzle. It consists of two loops of sliding pieces. These loops are connected with a unique helix/threaded piece that forces the loops to move in unison in opposite directions. Sliding parts on either side allow to exchange half circles of the loops and thereby the puzzle to be scrambled.
The inventor printed the entire puzzle twice making refinements, and the sliding parts a few additional times, adjusting the "horizontal expansion" setting on his 3D printer to ever-so-slightly change the radius of the sliding pieces. Another interesting aspect of the design was figuring out how to keep the sliding parts from falling out when they interface with the helix part. He solved it with adding a "foot" to the parts that goes into a deeper channel in the track, and provides some counter-balance to the torque/friction from the helix.
