Sloppy Cube is a cubic shapemod of Melty D (see the separate entry), suggested by David Tzur. The dihedral angle between axes is 87°. This makes the cube look sloppy, even though it is highly accurate, and all faces are identical. As analyzed by Bram Cohen, Melty D is a fascinating puzzle to get scrambled. Modding it into a cube makes it a bit more accessible to the general cubing public.

In 2022 a mass produced version "Sloppy 3x3x3 Cube" hit the market.
This came in a series of different versions:
