A face turning triakis tetrahedron in the shape of a tetrahedron.
Collider Tetrahedron is part of the series of puzzles by the same inventor begun with the Collider Cube. This time the core geometry is a triakis tetrahedron, and the outer shape is a regular tetrahedron. The geometry of the puzzle required that the cuts be deeper than with the other "Collider" puzzles, creating new pieces at the centers of the four faces. The puzzle is mechanically equivalent to the previous 4 Corners Cube and Diamond Duet, but with Collider Tetrahedron the axles are not visible, potentially increasing the solving challenge.
