Six balls in an octahedral shape and a case of puzzle recycling.

Planets Octahedron is another version of the Planets puzzle which has its own entry. The goal of Planets Octahedron is the same as for Planets, namely turn the balls and scramble the puzzle, and then try to solve it. This puzzle uses six spheres taken from the original Planets puzzle. Each sphere has six "craters" that match with adjacent spheres. A ball can rotate in one ore more directions when it is not blocked by adjacent balls.
Oskar designed only the frame newly for this puzzle. He designed it after a request from Juan Antonio Munoz Frias who printed the frame via shapeways and assembled the puzzle with six balls taken from existing versions of Planets.
