A Ghost 2x3x4. One out of a series of three.

The Diamond Cuboid is the first of a planned series of three Ghost 2x3x4 variations. The puzzle is misaligned on 4 layers. Like other Ghost puzzles, they need to be aligned before the rest of the axes can turn.
This puzzle was printed through 3DHubs, and was stickered with metallic blue stickers from Oliver's stickers.

The inventor had come up with the idea of the Ghost 2x3x4 sometime around July 2015 during a chat with Steve Ludington. Steve agreed to sponsor an original Ghost 2x3x4 which was made using FDM printed extensions for the MF8 2x3x4. The resulting puzzle was rather bulky, and it was never completely finished due to personal reasons on Steve's end.
The interesting thing about a Ghost 2x3x4 is that there are 3 possible standard Ghosting configurations depending on which axis you twist, each variation giving a different solving experience. The idea was to make all 3 variations using the extension method.
The bulkiness of the original puzzle was due to an unwillingness to make a large amount of tedious cuts on the base 2x3x4.
In 2017 the inventor was reminded of the old puzzle, got determined to "reboot" the series and set out to model the entire 3-part series in a few days time. The resulting puzzles were smaller, more chaotic looking (bigger offsets and such), and most importantly, all of them were the same compact size.

The inventor chose a precious gem theme for the series, and called them the Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald cuboids. The puzzles that were expected to be harder to solve were given the names of the "harder" materials based on the scale of material hardness.
He decided to start with the variant Diamond. In this case the 2x3 Axis is offset.
