Not the first puzzle with the axis system of a corner turning cube and five logical layers. But it is the first one in shape of an octahedron.
This face turning octahedron has five layers. The inventor designed it unproportional as he deemed a proportional version as impossible.
The puzzle is made of 226 parts and 224 stickers. The centers are not fixed, for example. Like all puzzle with these axis system, each face can only have 4 colours on it.
