Clover Icosahedron D1
Above:Solved
Click a thumbnail to see its larger version and description.
The concept of the Clover Cube applied to an icosahedron but with an additional set of doctrinaire axes.

Unlike the other clover puzzles this one has an icosahedron as basic shape. But there is more. The usual (this concept was not known for more that one year when this puzzle was presented!) clover puzzle uses cuts which include the corners of the shape. In Clover Icosahedron the cuts do not encircle the corners but this puzzle has an additional set of cuts perpendicular to the corners. These cuts resemble the icosahedron megaminx and therefore a doctrinaire puzzle.
Edge length: 67 mm
