A black globe on a stand with the seven continents in various colours.
Nifty spherical version of a 3x3x3 cube on a stand.
One of the more difficult 3x3x3 puzzles as you need to know what is where on the globe before solving, and if you haven't seen it in it's solved state it can be very difficult to know what goes where!
Another thing, is that when your hands get a bit damp through hours of non stop globing (!) the puzzle tends to fly out of your hands!
All in all, a great little puzzle and a nice challenge especially if you have someone to mix it for you without first looking at the solved state!
The german version was called "Rubik's Welt"
The bottom of the stand (in image 3) reads: "(C) I.T.C 1982/Made in Hong Kong/U.S. & Foreign Patents Pending/Rubik's World(tm) Puzzle". NOTE: The original text is readable from the top looking down. But since the base is transparent, it was easy to digitally "mirror" this photograph so the text could be easily read.
Diameter: 82 mm
Weight: 130 grams
