Spherical 3x3x3s depicting baseballs sold by children to raise money for their Little League baseball teams.
Although this puzzle functions exactly the same as a regular 3x3x3 sphere, it is very hard to solve. The "stitching" graphics simply do not match up very well.
This puzzle would have been sold by children, likely in the USA, to raise money for their Little League baseball teams. The proceeds might have been used to buy uniforms, bats, and baseballs.
One side reads: "Little League Baseball"
One side reads: "Character Courage Loyalty"
This puzzle was shown in the book "Puzzles Old and New How to Make and Solve Them" which was published in 1986. This gives an upper bound for this puzzles publication.
