It is mildly pillowed but the inventor believes that a flat faced variant is possible although there will be much more ollzing going on. The top two layers and the bottom two layers were bandaged together quite similarly to a 3x5x5.
In 2023 José Ramírez presented a version with bandaging but still in the shape of a dodecahedron. See images 4-5.
