Two opposite edges glued to adjacent corners.
One of 14 valuable bandaged Pyraminxs.
In the earlier days of twistypuzzles almost the only opportunity to get new challenges in solving puzzles was to make a bandaged variant of an already known puzzle. This variant was on of them and the only way to get one was to built one by hand.
The idea for this variant was conceived bei Yee Dian Lee. It was created by Norman Diamond as an exchange puzzle for IPP20 in 2000. See image 5.
In 2011 mass production of this variant was started. These variants are quite easy to build. All which has to be done is to take a Pyraminx and glue the appropriate tiles together. Nothing more has been done here.
