A face turning octahedron with circles of which some rotate with the surrounding layers. This is the 2nd out of 5.
Although the variants are named after the planets of the solar system only five variants were made.
Venus comes with eight circles which never move. This makes this puzzle the Face Turning Octahedron version of the circle cube.
The other variants have four circles (one per axis in a tetrahedral configuration) each of which zero up to three circles don't rotate with the surrounding layer.
Because of this symmetrical pattern its piece type signature can be analysed: HC2[O F3 E3 X9 Cz3 VNz3][F3 Cz3]
There is another version named "Crazy Octahedron Plus - Standard" that comes without circles. It is a reimplementaion of Dino Octa from Katsuhiko Okamoto which has its own entry in the museum.
