Years after the Multi-Dodecahedron the same concept for the corner turning cubes was realized.
This is a design of Gregoire Pfenning based on an idea by Brandon Enright. The idea was from 2012 but it was presented in August 2014. Brandon tumbled the pieces and Oliver Nagy made its stickers.
It was directly inspired by Tom van der Zandens Multi-Dodecaheron. In this case Gregorie designed a corner turning cube (aka Master Skewb) with a hole in the face which allow one to see the pieces equivalent to the Compy Cube inside of it.
In this case a puzzler needs to solve all the pieces which can be found in all corner turning cubes with equidistant cuts. Skewb, Compy Cube, Dino Cube, Master Skewb, ... are all a subset of this puzzle and its pieces:
1 Core
8 Compy Cube Corners
12 Dino Cube Edges
6 Skewb Centers
8 Skewb Corners
24 Master Skewb X-Centers
Leading to this piece type signature: HC2[O C1 C4 F3 E3 X9][C4]
Edge length: 60 mm
Weight: 74 grams
In 2017 the mass produced version "Multi Cube" (!) hit the market, available with bodies in black, red, blue, pink, purple, green.
Edge length: 60 mm
Weight: 142 grams
