Not to be confused with the 'Diamond Cube'. The centres and edges of this puzzle have squares the same size. This is because certain parts of the inner mech have been 'fattened'. Available at bargain stores.
The puzzle's name is also the name of the shape which is an archimedean solid.
It exists in at least two differently coloured versions. One has a white middle ring. One has an orange middle ring. The other two layers are yellow, and white or orange respectively.
Image 3 demonstrates what makes this cube a little tricky to solve. The right layer appears to match up perfectly (colours excepted, of course) after being turned only 45 counter-clockwise.
Image 4 shows that two different sizes were produced.
