All non-central slices can be turned at 22.5 degree increments, and all moves possible in cubic form are possible in all shape-shifted states. The non-3x3x3 pieces are mechanically identical, and can interchange positions. It was made out of four 5x5x5s from two different brands, with square center flanges on the edges as well as the centers. Links
