An extension of the Caution Cube or Geared Mixup concepts - this time with more types of moves possible.

The Danger Cube, like its predecessor, Geared Mixup, extends the concepts of the Mixup Cube and Gear/Caution Cube. This version allows for a lot more freedom in turning.

Unlike the Gear/Caution cube, the middle layer can be aligned at both 45° and 90° angles and still allow scrambling. The edge and center gears are shaped identically, allowing them to be exchanged with each other via 45° turns. Also, the gearing is limited only to the edge and center pieces, giving the gears to turn independently from the 3x3x3 mechanism. This allows turns that are not possible on the preceding puzzles, including the turning of all gears at once, and unrestricted 3x3x3 moves (see images 2-4).

The name, in the same manner as the Caution Cube, simply refers to the ease at which one's fingers can get pinched between the sharp angles of the puzzle's gears.
Edge length: 60 mm
Weight: 112 grams
