A fully face turning hexagonal prism with three layers.
The design for this puzzle was made by Scott Bedard. The first working sample was made by Josh Bostick with the help of that design.
This puzzle is a full face turning hexagonal prism. It has six square faces which allow turns by 180� and two faces which allow 60�-turns. The square faces have a size almost identical to a standard 3x3x3.
Piece type signature: PIII2mp[O T1 X2][]
Originally shown in the 1982 catalogue, "PYRAMINX" by Uwe Meffert under the name "Pyraminx Magic Hexagon". Uwe has claimed that this item only ever existed as a cardboard mockup.
