A "real" Gear Skewb.

Some time ago, Oskar van Deventer presented a puzzle named Gear Skewb. Timur Evbatyrov meant that should actually be called Gear Master Skewb because it has 3 layers.

The inventor wanted to create a "real" Gear Skewb with 14 (8 corners and 6 face centers) pieces that appear after dissecting a solid with 4 corresponding layers. Because the name Gear Skewb was already occupied, it was named Skewb des Soleils - because face gears look like an image of the sun. Orientation of the suns is not visible (unless we make a "super" version), so this puzzle is not very difficult to solve.
Edge length: 51 mm
Weight: 42 grams

In 2015 a mass produced version "Timur Gear Skewb" hit the market. It is produced with black, white and blue body.
