A clever 2x2x2 mod that can solve into a cube or the shape of a house.
This puzzle can be viewed as a Fisher 2x2x2. "Fisher" means in this case that the puzzle is twisted by 45 within the solid. This analogy is not perfectly right because of the puzzle's absent stickering.
Without stickers and only two sets of distinguishable pieces this puzzle has just 9717 permutations. It behaves more like a creativity game than a puzzle. The pieces even resemble those of a Rubik's Snake.
Included in the package is a green adhesive ribbon (shown in image 10). The text on the package advises you to cut the ribbon and apply some of it as doors and windows on the cubies. Image 11 shows a sample of this.
It was produced and sold in the former GDR.
David Singmaster mentioned it in Cubic Circular #7&8 from 1985.
