Dino Starminx
Click a thumbnail to see its larger version and description.
A hybrid puzzle which looks like the Dino dodecahedron or the starminx. It combines the turns from both puzzles.

The Dino Starminx turns like both the Dino Dodecahedron and the face turning Starminx. That means it combines the turns of a face turning and a corner turning dodecahedron. It consists of 335 pieces, due to the double set of cuts. It has magnets to stabilize the Dino turns. These magnets are not needed to make the puzzle working but they prevent them from interfering with the Starminx turns.

The puzzle has 288695874172821321990510884511315371379634080616088900725035437706502325786046417604536340030227920977920000000000000000000000000000000000 = 288.7*10^135 if all pieces are considered distinguishable and their orientations visible.
Compared with the number available if the puzzle can be disassembled and reassembled there are these restrictions:
-The pentagons allow only even permutations.
-The triangles allow only even permutations.
-The edges allow only even permutations.
-The edges can be oriented only in multiples of 2.
These restrictions are the same as seen in the Starminx I.
Stickered as shown here the puzzle has 1326250536851201837345812073473731878811212847953250300194623766491746861483381761531054338867200000000000 = 1.33*10^105 permutations.
