This puzzle is clearly designed as a predecessor of the Mercedes Cube I. Like the previous puzzle this allows the circles (which resemble the logo of Mercedes Benz) to be twisted independently. Unlike the previous puzzle this puzzle allows cornerturns instead of face turns.
