The principle of the Latch Cube applied to the Pyraminx.
In April 2012 a concept like this was suggested by Vladimir Yaroslavsky.
The builder of this variant picked up that idea and created an universal mechanism which allows to place any combination of arrows on any of the edges and faces.
The tips also contain latches which allow only one direction.
As is the latch cube an arrow means the face can be moved only in that direction. If there are two arrows pointing to opposite directions the face cant move at all.
