Gr�goire Pfennig made the first version of this concept in 2012. He designed pieces which were subsequently printed and glued on a mass produced Master Skewb. He presented it in 2012 under the name "Master Skewb Sphere". Please refer to images 4-5.

In 2016 Traiphum Prungtaengkit made his own version by hand and called it "Master Orb". Please refer to images 1-3. Gr�goire asked himself that the images of Traiphums creation should present this entry and gave him priority for the puzzle's name.
