A face turning dodecahedron with four cuts per axis. Compared with the Master Brilic it has two additional types of pieces.
This is one of the few puzzles with more that two cuts per axis. The gigaminx was the first puzzle with four cuts per axis. Compared with this predecessor the Master Starminx has different cutting depth and therefore shows a different set of pieces. The most similar puzzle is the Master Brilic but the Master Starminx uses curvy cuts and by doing so the inner faces and X-pieces are newly introduced into the puzzle.
